A consultant provides expert opinions, analysis and recommendations to organizations or individuals, based on their own expertise. They’re essentially, fixers, serving as objective troubleshooters and provided strategies to prevent problems and improve performance.
So, if you find a man consultant with these 12 qualities, don’t let him go.
1. He respects you.
One of the first qualities is to respect the culture, the organization of the team and the leadership. He is here to add some values and not to change. He respects the personalities, the values, the beliefs, the needs, the flaws, the past and the history.
2. He protects you
He won’t let anyone hurt the team and the project. If anyone does, he’ll give them a piece of his mind. He’ll defend the team but always will have this external opinion to provide a clear and independent feedback.
3. He is kind
A quality consultant manages to combine strengths of both power and sympathy. He is kind at heart, yet brutal in battle.
4. He is supportive
He will never discourage you. A good consultant will always support you and what you want out. As mentioned above, this support will come with respect and kindness.
5. He is honest
But it will be honest. A consultant is an expert provider of advice. To do that, he has to be honest but respectful.
6. He is not selfish
He can put the need of his client first. Moreover, he is not narcissistic and not everything turns around him.
7. He works to gain your trust
A good consultant want you to be comfortable and confident in your project. Without trust, there is no foundation for love or respect. What’s more, He understands that trust is not just handed over to someone, it has to be earned and then it has to be kept.

Whether it is learning new things, developing a new set skill, he will always want to know more. He will also always intellectually challenging you and your project.

Ambitious but down the earth, he never stops doing his best and seeks for challenges.

When a quality consultant commits to a project, there is no stipulations or circumstances required. There will be good times and there will be not so good times. There will be challenges and unexpected situations that arises, but he will stay here and be your advisor through it all

The more alike your personalities are, the more likely you are to approach problems in the same way. When your values are the same, you share similar approach to everything.
12. He can make you smile.
Last but not least, a good consultant is also a friend that you can count on him and go grab a beer together enjoying everything that is not only work.
